01Day 01Arrive Kathmandu, to be met at the airport or meeting point and transferred to your hotel.

You will be briefed by your Yoga instructor and trek leader about the following day's program and the whole Yoga Teacher Training in general.

We drive for about 130 km on a blacktopped road before going on a fair weather road for a further 60km before our stop for the night.

We wake up early for our first yoga session; visit a religious site before breakfast. We start our hike on an ascend for a couple of hours to a pristine village of Sherpas. We stop here for a hot lunch prepared by our trekking chef and his assistants around the holy premises of the Monastery.

We continue to ascend above the village to an open meadow in the middle of a thick forest. We will be here for the next four days.

We head down to the village monastery in the morning to meditate with the monks for a couple of hours. Perhaps even have a philosophical exchange. Our kitchen crew will travel to make breakfast and lunch for the trainees in the compound of the monastery.

We do a meditative hike back to our campsite in the afternoon.

We leave for a new training site on this day after our morning yoga session and breakfast. We will be hiking in a meditative mode in silence while observing the sites, smells, the environment around and absorbing its' goodness.

The trail is a combination of ascends and descends in a thickly forested area which is abundant in wildlife such as deer, porcupine, many species of birds, pheasants, Himalayan Black bears, and leopards to name a few.

We hike down for about two hours to the village to a shrine that is dedicated to Lord Shiva to meditate and practice yoga.

We head up to our campsite in the afternoon after visiting the school and the health post.

We start our meditative trek after our morning yoga and breakfast. The hike is mostly on a fair weather road, which makes it easier to walk. We continue hiking through a thickly forested area. We walk past a few sparsely populated areas today.

Our team will have sought a beautiful camping ground slightly away from the village.

We hike up to the vantage point for about 3-4 hours and camp just below the top. We hike up to 3350 meters to absorb cosmic energy.

We stay here for one more night to practice Asanas with the Great Himalayan peaks in the background with the hope that the weather is clear for the Yogis.

We will be hiking along a ridgeline on this day. We could be rewarded with a wide view of the nearby Himalayan Mountains if the weather is clear.

We stay at the Sherpa village and have our last day of outdoors Yoga teacher training around a monastery.

We hike to the road head to meet our vehicles; we either drive to a small town to catch our flight or drive towards back to Kathmandu with an overnight stop before continuing the drive back the next day.

Depending on the flight schedule, we either fly back or continue driving back to Kathmandu.

An extra day to sum up all the learning and find the take away from this incredible YTT to make our body, mind and the self blissful in Kathmandu.
