Sarah and Spike from England just spent three weeks on a family holiday in Nepal. Their itinerary took them from Kathmandu to Chitwan, Lumbini, Tansen ( not many tourists visit this place ), Pokhara and then on to the trekking trails of Annapurna to Ghorepani and back. Spike paraglided with Lhakpa Tseri Sherpa. Lhakpa and Sano Babu climbed Mount Everest in 2011, paraglided from the summit, kayaked on the Sunkoshi river all the way to the Bay of Bengal. They were selected as National Geography's Adventurers of 2012. A chilled time in Pokhara at the end of the trek was a good break before heading out rafting on the Trisuli River. Both Spike and his Mum, Sarah would like to come back and do more trekking in Nepal. Spike spoke highly of Chandra, the cook from Responsible Adventures about his likings of the food he prepared for them. Sarah's highlight of the trip was having a dip in hot springs while Spike's favorite activity was an Elephant safari in the Chitwan National Park.
