Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake Trek

Hi Raj
Greetings from Crescent Head. It has been a month since we left your wonderful country. I have been going through our photos of what was, the trip of a lifetime. We both extend a big thank you to you and all your team. Our hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan were superb (especially the Manaslu, architecture, staff, rooms and food all excellent). Our transport between areas was comfortable and scenic. Our lovely lady tour guide (whose name I have forgotten) provided a wealth of information on the history, culture and religions of the Kathmandu valley. Our trekking team were a great group of guys, who looked after our every need. Many thanks to Pashang (great guy and leader) and Sundra (not only a good cook but a great wildlife spotter) for helping Deb on the more difficult sections of the treks and pointing out all landmarks and answering my many questions. We extend our admiration and thanks to our porters, carrying our gear, always smiling and asking if we needed anything.
Both treks had many highlights but two stand out: the walk between Banthanti and Ghorepani in the snow and the view up the valley from the ridge above Thame will remain in our memories for years to come. The lodges were clean and provided a comfortable bed and delicious food, appreciated after a days walking.
Once again thanks Raj, I would have no hesitation in recommending Responsible Adventures to anyone traveling to Nepal. I hope to see you again to try the Base Camp and Gokyo Lake trek, like the slogan says "Nepal - once is not enough".
