Mount Kailash is one of the worlds most elusive and exotic pilgrimage sites because of its remote location on the Tibetan plateau. It is estimated that just about a hundred pilgrims a year make the trip, despite its vast Hindu and Buddhist significance. This trip entails a few days on the road, with off-road drive and trekking involved in the latter stages of the journey. Highlights include a day of camping by the holy Lake Mansarovar, visit Shigatse which is home to Tashilumpo Monastery and a stop by Lhasa, the Tibetan capital where incredible sites like the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and the monasteries of Ganden and Drepung await.
Trekking is a wellness activity which helps in detoxification. We now provide meals that include superfood as part of the ingredients for better acclimatization to high altitude and better nourishment.
