Tandem Paragliding

Tandem flying involves a pilot flying with a passenger. Both of them have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are built for comfort and safety, they feel more like an armchair.

After take-off the passenger just sits back, relaxes and takes in the epic scenery. Even taking pictures is not a problem. Paragliders can foot launch and gently foot land again and are very portable. We can take them anywhere and fly from most mountains in Nepal.

All the above flights leave from our office at the following times,

9:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm (times may vary sometimes due to changes in weather conditions).

All the above prices also include the following for you,

• medical insurance upto $20,000.00
• pick-up from your hotel to our take-off in Sarangkot then back from our landing near lake-side
• a free certificate to take back home as a souvenir.

THINGS TO REMEMBER FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT AND SAFETY,

• Remember to wear a pair of good ankle support shoes ( this is for take-off and landing ).
• Wear warm clothes, as in a pair of jumper/jacket and long trousers.
• Bring your own camera if you want to, otherwise our pilots can always take onflights pictures of you and burn it on cd for only Rs 1,200/-.
• If you suffer from any kind of travel sickness then to take anti-sickness pills or not to eat anything heavy before the flight.

We take a 20 min jeep ride from Pokhara uphill to Sarangkot viewpoint 2000ft above Lakeside. Thisis where we take off. From here we can see three highest mountains in the world. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, all over 8000m. We offer 3 types of tandem flights from here.

CLOUD BUSTER

This midday flight gives you the thrill of high flight as we thermal up above Sarangkot in the company of eagles and vultures, 20 - 30 min. We land by the lake.

CROSS COUNTRY

This flight is designed to give you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the big mountains. We fly as long as we can and aim to return to Pokhara same afternoon. Flight time - 1 hour approx.

ACROBATIC FLYING

The biggest shot of adrenaline in the Himalayas! See what our world class acro pilots can do with a wing as you loop, spin and spiral through the air. Performing maneuvers called “Helicopter”, “SAT”, “Back-fly”, “Tumble” and “Wingover”.

This 10-20 min flight will leave you breathless yet and an amazing experience of a lifetime.
