Short Trek to Everest Base Camp & fly out by Helicopter

This is a perfect trek if you do not have the time to do the regular trek to the Everest base camp. This trek is designed to hike to EBC and fly out in a chartered helicopter.

This trek to Everest Base Camp has been designed to offer views uniquely different from what other trekking companies offer, by taking trekkers to the base of one of the most beautiful mountains in the region – Amadablam. The base camp at Amadablam is rarely visited by trekkers, and the hike up to Amadablam base camp take you along the tree line into high altitude alpine forest and through summer pastures with stunning views of the Maha Langgur range, which cannot be seen from the main trail to Everest Base Camp. This trek also bypasses the overcrowded Thyangboche Monastery area, and trekkers stay at the superb Pangboche, where the “responsible” in our adventure brings business to the lodge owners here who are in need of the income.

Mount Everest is the highest peak seen along this trek, standing at 8,850 m, this peak’s imposing majesty has inspired awe and wonder to all those who live beneath, as well as to those who have read about Mt. Everest, seen films about her, and have always dreamed of visiting this most famous of mountains.

This trek follows in the in the famous footsteps of Everest’s greatest climbing parties, as we trek first through Sherpa country, past fields and villages before the really hard work begins: the climb to Namche Bazaar. Once about the tree line, the scenery is stark but spectacular. In the distance, set with Ama Dablam, Everest and other mountains behind, we can view the incredible monastery at Thyangboche in the most unique setting.

Our goal is to climb Kala Pathar (5,545 m), for the ultimate view of Mt. Everest, where the spirit of this mountain legend can be captured and savored. Your experienced Group Leader and Sherpa Guides make your health and welfare a priority throughout this trek, and provide everything possible for a safe and memorable adventure. Flying out by helicopter also saves you several days of walking back down the same trail, making the end of this adventure all the more relaxing.
