Our Trip begins in Nepal with opportunities to explore the old bazaars and some of the oldest monuments in the country. In comparison to Nepal, there are exceptionally very little movements in terms of trekking within major parts of Bhutan. The Chomolhari trek follows the crystal clear trout rich upstream trail of Paro Chu along the verdant rhododendron forests and salubrious green alpine meadows....

This is one of our longest Bhutanese treks, and one, which we have successfully run every year since 1988. It has everything remoteness, fantastic mountains, fascinating villages and monasteries/ fortresses, all within a Kingdom which itself is culturally unique in the Himalaya. The trek starts from Paro, where we strike out towards the Tibetan boarder into Bhutan's mountains northwest corner. The route takes us beneath Chomolhari, 23997 ft/ 7314m, the country's second highest mountain...

A varied trip which takes us from the cosmopolitan Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, to the 'Land of the Dragon' - Bhutan . We include explorations of several of Bhutan's unique monasteries, a three day trek in the Bhumtang valley and an overland journey through stunning mountains, where tradition and ritual are still very much a way of life.
